Travis Galbraith, violist, presents a recital of works for solo viola and viola with piano. While violas feature prominently in ensemble music, this solo recital is a rare opportunity to hear the lush tone of a viola in a solo setting. Travis will present works by Bach, Beethoven and Brahms. Travis graduated from the High School for the Performing and Visual Arts and continued his musical education by attending the Cleveland Institute of Music, attaining a Bachelor's of Music Degree in 2005, specializing in viola performance. After returning to Houston, he attended the University of Houston, graduating with Master's Degree in 2008.
